Machine Guide Class (Crescendo, Chorus, Pathfinder, Aerial, Meridian, Altair, Solaris)
Come learn about your newly purchased embroidery machine. Debbie walks you through these complimentary classes if you recently purchased a new Baby Lock machine at The Sewing Studio. Mastering your new machine is important to us and we want you to be satisfied with all that your Baby Lock machine has to offer! The morning will be spent on learning about your Baby Lock Sewing Machine and the afternoon will be spent on learning about your Baby Lock embroidery machine. The class is free to anyone who has purchased a Baby Lock Sewing and Embroidery Machine from The Sewing Studio. Please bring all accessories, the manuals that came with your machine, and a small pair of scissors. All other supplies will be provided by The Sewing Studio. We will cover sewing in the morning from 10:00-12:00, then we will take an hour lunch break. We will cover embroidery in the afternoon from 1:00-3:00. If you machine only sews then you will come in the morning only. If your machine only does embroidery, then you will come in the afternoon. If you have a combination machine, you will stay all day. Have you ever wanted to learn to quilt? This would be a great class for you! Carrol will teach you everything you need to know to get started. We will focus on all the basics including cutting and piecing. Baby Lock Next Steps Embroidery Guide Class
This class is designed to be taken after our basic embroidery guide class. Our hope is that you will take the skills you learned in the first guide class and apply them to a few specific projects that we always get asked about. In this project class, you will learn how to embroidery on a t-shirt and learn to make a mug rug using applique in the hoop. You will also learn how to make a lace bookmark. The cost of the class is free since it is a Baby Lock Guide Class. We ask you to purchase the class kit for $20 which includes the materials to make the Mug Rug, a Tea Towel, and needed stabilizer. You will need to bring your embroidery machine, standard embroidery supplies, threads, and a t-shirt to embroidery on.
