Has it been awhile sinch you took the Longarm Rental Certification?  This class is for you!  Natalie will spend time with you this day reviewing all the information covered in the certification course.  Many of you have commented that you would like to rent the longarm, but do not feel confident in your skills.  We are hoping this refresher class will help.  We plan to offer this class once every month so if you can not make it in May then maybe you can make it another month. Come learn about your newly purchased embroidery machine. Debbie walks you through these complimentary classes if you recently purchased a new Baby Lock machine at The Sewing Studio. Everyone needs a Frankie in their life! This a fun quilt to make and have for the Halloween season.  Join Debbie to learn how to put this beginner friendly quilt together. The cost of the first class is $25 (Sept 4th) and the cost of the second class is $15 (Sept 25th). You will need to bring your sewing machine, standard sewing supplies, cutting mat, straight ruler, rotary cutter, trans-web, Frankie Pattern and needed fabrics. Want to use up some of those scraps you have hanging around? Join Carrol to work on scrap friendly projects.  This class is designed for the beginner quilter.  This year, we will use the Scrappiness is Happiness book by Lori Holt.  You get to choose which project you work on from this book! The cost of the class is $25 for the first class and all additional classes are $15.  You will need to bring your sewing machine, standard sewing supplies, cutting mat, straight ruler, rotary cutter, Scrappiness is Happiness book and needed fabrics. Show your creativity on your feet!  Quilted sneakers are so popular right now, and we get to have our very own classes right here in the shop!  Join Natalie to learn how to put together a pair of your very own Patchwork Kicks. The cost of the class is $25.  You will also need to purchase the All-Inclusive Kit ($84.99) which includes everything you need to complete your sneakers.  The kit will be provided for you the day of the class.  You will need to bring at least three Fat Quarters of the fabric to use on the sneakers.  You will also need to bring your sewing machine, scissors (for fabric and paper), 1/4″ Seam-A-Seam Lite fusible tape, and thread to match.  The Sewing Studio will provide an iron and ironing mat for each participant.
